The Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) recently launched a new identity for both its international airports in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
The new look matches that of the emirate, as it follows the thematic design of the Office of the Brand of Abu Dhabi (OBAD).
The airports' logo and their general appearance will be based on blue, the colour of the cloudless sky.
Furthermore, the Abu Dhabi International Airport also unveiled the makeover of its Terminal One, with a range of artworks, developed by OBAD, promoting a travellers' welcome message to the millions of airport users, many of whom are transit passengers. Many of these artworks are photographs depicting the people, customs and traditions of the UAE.
"Many airports lack a distinctive look and could be anywhere; we want Abu Dhabi's airports to be distinctive and recognisable to the millions of passengers who are visiting the UAE or transiting through the airport," explained Khalifa Mohamed Al Mazrouei, Chairman of ADAC.
